Core Dump File

Hi Guys,

I have a call manager buniess edition 7.1.3b that's in pre-production testing and all of a sudden the call manager service restarted itself.  I had RTMT open at the time and got a "core dump file" message.

I retrieved the core dump file but I've no idea how to read it.

Is this file of any use to anyone apart from TAC?

The core file itself usually is only of value to TAC.  However the backtrace which you can generate from the core file "utils core active analyze " can be of use to anyone.  Search the bug toolkit for lines from the backtrace and you may be able to find the cause of the core.
