MGCP gateway in SRST mode, incoming calls not routing.

Hi

I have an MGCP gateway (1861) with SRST configured for WAN failure. There is BRI line connected to it and has a number 3709 3416. The extension numbers in the building are 8XXX (around 13 telephones).

in MGCP mode I have a translation pattern to translate the incmoning calls to 8XXX extensions and all works fine. during WAN failure (simulated) 1861 goes in SRST mode and 8 phones register to it randomly. during this, the incoming calls dont work. outgoing are fine. I have dial peer configured and translation rule for incoming also,

Can anyone help with the troubleshooting?

Here is SRST and dial peer confing

try to modify your pots dialpeer as follows

dialpeer voice 22 pots

incoming called-number .

translation-profile incoming SRST

direct-inward-dial

and remove the profile from the call-manager-fallback. Test it out.

if this helpful, plz rate the post.

Maybe you should take good cara of the Status of Callmanager MGCP gatway  Cause MGCP will turn to Callmanager For Routing Calls.

And you can

show call-manager-fallback

confi ter

no mgcp

mgcp

to see if can be OK

You should lookup on MGCP troubleshoot fr cisco.com
