Hi VoIP Gurus,
I got a report from one of our agent and she had experience a ghost call. per her description, her phone ring and on the phone displays the number of the caller but she hears nothing upon lifting the handset. Sounds a one way audio, my questions are how can i determine if it is a ghost call? how will I troubleshoot and fix it?
Can someone provide me a documentation about ghost/phantom call.
Appreciate all the help.. Thank you!

Just per-chance, you aren't sharing a MGCP controlled FXS port with an extension also assigned to SCCP endpoints (like IP phones), are you? There are known limitations that cause 'ghost ringing' scenarios when you do this, and a phone will ring after a call is hung up, with nothing attached on the other side.
Otherwise, troubleshoot this like you would any intermittent 1-way or no-way audio issue.
