Hi deepaks_1974:

I'm not sure what an "upgradation" is, but this doesn't look to be a Network Management question, but instead a LAN switching question.

The Catalyst 4500 System Message Guide shows:

http://tools.cisco.com/squish/13AaD

Error Message    C4K_REDUNDANCY-4-KEEPALIVE_WARNING: Keepalive messages from peer Supervisor are  missing for [dec] seconds

Explanation    Keepalive messages have not been sent from the peer supervisor engine. If the situation persists and the keepalive messages do not resume, the peer supervisor engine will eventually be reset. This message is logged for every third missed keepalive message.

Recommended Action    This is an informational message only. No action is required.

Reposting to the LAN Switching area will get you in touch with folks with more experience in these type things.

Sincerely,

Rollin Kibbe

Network Management Systems Team

Thanks for kind support.

Thanks & Regards,

Deepak Saindane
