Solved: Campus Manager 5.2.1 Data Collection always running and Topology Issue

Hello,

I recently upgraded LMS 3.2 CM 5.2 to CM 5.2.1 in order to use UTU 2.0.

Since that upgrade, I got some problems:

- Campus Manager Data Collection is always in the running state

- If I want to delete an equipement in DCR in CS, I can't because a data collection is always running.

- Sometimes, I got display errors in CM topology services (ie switches are in red while they are reachable).

In Campus Manager Home, Data Collection and UT Acquisition are in idle state.

A server reboot seems to fix those issues but after a while, it does it again.

You will find attached ani logs.

We have also the following error message:

Construction of XML data required for UT in progress. Please try after some time.

Could it be related to CSCtd49439 because we have 2 APs on the network ?

Yes, the patch will address this issue. The issue is not just the fact that they are standalone, it is caused by the way the IOS is labeled in ANI and can be seen on other devices also. The logs show the exception which points to this issue clearly, so the patch should resolve this.

Yes, this is CSCtd49439. You can get a patch for CM 5.2.1 via TAC.

These APs are controlled by a WLC and are not standalone.

Do you think the patch could adress this issue in this case ?
