Busy Light Field show Extension Busy when it is not

All users in one of our offices have a BLF for the other extensions in the office.  All users with a BLF for extension 141 show extension 141 as busy even though it isnt.  There is no call forward, no DND set on the phone.  We have reset the phone but nothing stops this extension as showing busy.  Is it a faulty handset?

I have this problem too.

try to dial the mwi off number from the 141 phone and see if that helps, mwi issues are usually the result of dial plan mis configuration, partitions/css and things like that. more can be learned if you tell us in details what voicemail system and call control system are you using.

Yes we have reset the phone and the light remains on - we think it might be a conflict between similar extension numbers in two different offices.

So you may have the exact same DN in the exact same partition shared across two offices then?  If you do a search of phones by directory number it will show you all devices sharing that number (as a DN, not BLF) including the index of which line appearance on the phone has that DN.

Yes we have looked at that and removed the duplicate however there was no issue previously and nothing has changed. We do however have two call managers and one had to be reset recently - we think this may have something to do with it.
