I have a stack of 8 Cisco 3750 Switches. I went to add a 9th switch to the stack today, which I have added switch to live stacks many of times.
I unplugged the stacking cable from the bottom stack to insert the new switch stacking cable once I did this Solarwinds Orion Network Performance monitor reported the stack as being down. The stack did not power off, or reboot and none of the users lost connectivity. I was able to plug into the stack and ping devices and had connectivity. Did lose vlan management connectivity because the vlan interface was on a switch that is show Current State Provisioned.
