Hi

I'm trying to apply QoS on a frame-relay interface and I'm getting an error message "CBWFQ : Only supported at second level on subinterface". I don't understand that error? can someone give more clarity.

Attached it's a policy that I'm trying to apply.

Kind regards

Mpho

I always enable FRTS first; then apply the policy map to the frame-relay class map.  Of course if this is done all sub-interfaces must have a frame-relay class map or a default shaper is applied; I believe 56Kbps.

map-class frame-relay hero
frame-relay cir 512000
service-policy output Egress_Serial1/0:0.1
exit

ser 0/1:0
frame-relay traffic-shaping
exit

ser0/1:0.1
frame-relay interface-dlci 100
class hero

Hi Christopher

Thanks for your response.

I have done as you told me but I'm getting another error message when I tried to apply the service policy under the map-class frame-relay (name) as illusstrated....

7200-4-293(config-map-class)#service-policy output Egress_Serial1/0:0.1
Frame relay output service policy is not supported.

Can you post a 'show ver' from that router?

Thanks,

Chris
