Solved: CUCM 7.1(3)-10000 on vmware

Hi all,

I installed CUCM 7.1(3)-10000 on vmware and Im getting this licence warning:

Licensing Warnings:
Software Version license is missing. Call Manager Service will not start. Please upload SW Feature license file.

CCM service really is not possible to be started. I thought that it should automatically provide you with demo licence.

Doesnt somebody know what is wrong?

Try an install/upgrade. In other words, when you are asked if you wish to install a patch during the installation - choose YES. Download 7.1(3b)SU2 from CCO and put it on an SFTP/FTP server for download during upgrade. When you install from 7.1(3) base, you'll only install enough to get the OS loaded then the first application revision will be 7.1(3b)SU2 and you should be given a demo license there.
