Hi all,



I have a site to site vpn connectivity from Site A to Site B......



how do i get mail alert if the vpn  tunnel goes down?

logging host inside ip of the syslog server

logging mail e-mail-notification

logging from-address [email protected]

logging recipient-address [email protected] level critical

Hi Sunil,



as you said i have tried , i am getting all critical logs


so my mail box is getting full with all critical logs


i dont want all logs to be mailed, need  an email alert when the vpn tunnel breaks and unable to start.


can you help me on this?

Can you add the command below and remove the existing e-mail-notifications command.


logging trap list e-mail-notifications
