Hi,
I configured the same number extension for both buttons on 7940 IP phone CME. I want the 3rd call to placed on second button. I set
the following conf for the two lines.
I followed the recomendation on admin guide but when the 3rd call is placed is sent to voice mail, I expected to be sent to the second button.
I set Hunt Stop Channel off.
ephone-dn 178 dual-line
number 1971
label 1971
call-forward busy 5001
call-forward noan 5001 timeout 10
no huntstop
ephone-dn 179 dual-line
number 1971
label 1971
call-forward busy 5001
call-forward noan 5001 timeout 10
preference 1
Is there something wrong or there si something left??
regards
!

Hi.
I just wanted to clarify, if both the lines are busy, the 3rd call will go to vm as per the config foward busy to vm in the second line. i think it is a normal behaviour. pls correct me if i am wrong.
Regards
Esa

You are right, first DN should have no call-forward . I have rated your post.
I will try not to post anymore when barely awake.

I may help people but sometime I fail to see the very same things I did so many times before
Of course the most preferenced DN must not have call-forward busy set.
So I had edited my posts again hopefully for the last time!
