Hi Guys ,


I m getting error on IPS applicance IPS 7.0(2)E4 platform IPS-4240-K9-


Output from show statistics analysis-engine

Error: getAnalysisEngineStatistics : ct-sensorApp.418 not responding, please check system processes - The connect to the specified Io::ClientPipe failed.

Output from show statistics anomaly-detection

Error: getAnomalyDetectionStatistics : ct-sensorApp.418 not responding, please check system processes - The connect to the specified Io::ClientPipe failed.



Please help me to know what this says and how can i recover from this error .


There is not impact but i am not able to access GUI .As soon as i open the GUI this error pop up and GUI become unaccessable .


Your help needed .

Hi,


It seems like the sensorApp has hung on the IPS. Is the IPS processing traffic fine? You might want to try and reboot the IPS to see if it helps.

Thanx for the reply ,


IPS is processing traffic without any issue only the issue is i m not able to access GUI , GUI opens in browser with the error and get closed if u click ok or try to close the error message window.


CLI mode working fine .Please revert with your suggestion

Hi,


If CLI is working fine, can you get a show tech and see if you notice anything there. Have you tried rebooting the sensor?
