Hi I have 7965G with SIP and I want to convert to SCCP.

I have search a lot of information but I found only guide for 7960/7940

Is the method from 7960 also work with 7965? If the answer is yes please tell me how to

because I can't find a file name "OS79XX.TXT" or SCCP image "P003-08-200.bin" for 7965G

Or can I use file from 7960?

Thanks

convert a 7965 to SCCP using CallManafer is quite easy.

1- Using the phone mac address, define the 7965 in the callmanager, as a SCCP phone.

2- on the phone set the TFTP server to point to the callmanager

3- Reset the phone (unplug/plug)

4- Phone will connect the callmanager and will start to download the SCCP firmware.

Sometimes, if the process does not work, I also do a erase in the phone configuration.

Do you have the firmware files already ?

I have downloaded "cmterm-7945_7965-sccp.9-0-3.zip" , "cmterm-7945_7965-sip.9-0-3.zip" already

but inside contain

apps45.9-0-3TH1-22.sbn
cnu45.9-0-3TH1-22.sbn
cvm45sccp.9-0-3TH1-22.sbn , cvm45sip.9-0-3TH1-22.sbn
dsp45.9-0-3TH1-22.sbn
jar45sccp.9-0-3TH1-22.sbn
SCCP45.9-0-3S.loads , SIP45.9-0-3S.loads
term45.default.loads
term65.default.loads

which file should I use?

Are you using CM, CME, or none of the above ?

I use cme version 7.1 (IOS c2800nm-ipvoice-mz.124-24.T3.bin)

but if cm is easier it's ok. I can use it too.(cm7.1)

Thank you. It works!
