LMS --Auto Script to Add devices

Hello Experts,

I am new to LMS

Is there any script which can add devices in LMS (v3.2) in one go.

I have large number of devices which needs to add & everyone has different set of snmp string.

Also can you advise url which can give information about various jobs which can set using LMS

I may need for jobs.

1.       Daily backup

2.       Auto –write on devices on weekly basis

3.       Memory / CPU / Link utilization alerts

4.       Interface error alerts

5.       BGP session alerts

LMS supports a bulk import feature from CSV or XML under Common Services > Device and Credentials > Device Management.  This might be easiest for you.  You can do an export first to see the file format, or you can consult on the context sensitive online help in the Device Management screen.

You can also script individual device additions using the NMSROOT/bin/dcrcli utility.  This utility is documented in the Common Services online help within LMS.
