VSS Core to ASA active/standby - port flapping

Has anyone implemented a VSS core to ASA active/standby pair, where the inside interface of ASA primary is in VSS switch 1 and inside interface of ASA secondary is in VSS switch 2 and the switchport to the ASA secondary is continually going up and down? I can't imagine that would be normal behavior for this setup.

check in log with sh log if any reason is reported for port state flapping.

Verify also speed and duplex settings both ends.

Try also to change the LAN cable if everything looks like fine
