Another FAC post

Hi Guys,

I am having problems with using FAC on the UC520.

I have two ephone-dn's. One that is supposed to enter the authorization code and the other that is a vip caller (no auth codes).

I  am able to get the prompt for the user that is restricted and once  entered correctly the outgoing called is dialed. However the problem is that I  am also getting the prompt for the ephone that is setup to be the vip  caller. I've tried several different scenarios but can't seem to get it  work.

Essentially my goal is such that vip caller hits  the 60 pots dial peer immediately and the auth code call hits the 5500  voip dial peer then once entered correctly goes to the 60 pots dial  peer.

Thanks for any assistance in advance.

Below is my config:

Try making these changes and test-

ephone-dn 10
  corlist incoming user-local

ephone-dn 12
  corlist incoming user-local-fac

dial-peer voice 5500 voip
  corlist outgoing call-local-fac
  corlist incoming call-local

dial-peer voice 60 pots
  corlist outgoing call-local

Thanks,

Anthony

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for the response.

This actually did work. The main problem was the fact that under the dn's I had put outgoing instead of incoming (lack of sleep, I think).

BTW, If I wanted to do this same process with the international dial-peer, how is the best way to handle the ephone-dn's in this case? We have 9011T and 91[2-9][2-9][2-9]....... as international numbers here.

Thanks again for the assistance.

I'll take a closer look and get back to you

(mobile)

Added user-international under the vip callers ephone-dn

Remaining users won't really need to dial international calls out.

Thanks again Anthony.

Best Regards.

When I first read this post on my mobile this afternoon I thought the previous recommendations didn't fix the issue. Good to hear you're all set.

Thanks,

Anthony
