Hello,
I have a question about CWLMS 3.2 Server requirements. My actual scenario is:
- I need to add around 2000 devices
- License will be CWLMS + HUM
Installation guide says the following:
Standalone server explained in these tables denotes the server that has the following applications installed:
• Common Services
• CiscoWorks Assistant
• CiscoWorks LMS Portal
• One of the following applications: RME, IPM, DFM or Campus
Solution server explained in these tables denotes the server where all the CiscoWorks LMS applications are installed. However to manage LMS 5000 or LMS 10,000 components of CiscoWorks LMS 3.2 Solution, you must set up more than one Solution servers.
Based on this, I understand that I will need 2 servers, so it will increase hardware requirements.
Could you clarify if I will need 2 servers or if there is any way to installed in just one server.
Thanks,

Hi,
We do not need 2 servers we need license for 2000 devices and the server would need the follwoing hardware :
Table 2-5 lists the server requirements for installing the CiscoWorks LAN Management Solution 3.2 components on Windows systems with HUM.

Hope it helps!

Thanks,
Regarding license, there is not a license for 2000 devices, so I have to buy the LMS5000 license.
Can I buy 2 LMS 1500 license, in order to install one and then add the other.
Thanks,

Based on some info that I had found on cisco, it seems like it is possible to run CWLMS 3.2 with 5000 devices in just one server. After this, I will have to assign a HUM license to each device.
There is a HUM licence for 3000 devices, do my new question is, It is possible to runn CWLMS 3.2 5000 devices + HUM 3000 devices in the same server?
Thanks,
