I'm trying to find some more information on the anyconnect for VPN phone asa licensing for cucm 8.0. Based on what little information i've been able to find, the anyconnect for vpn phones requires a separate ASA license from UC proxy licenses.

https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-9124

Lists the part numbers as L-ASA-AC-PH-55XX= where XX = 05,10,20,40,50,80. Yet I can't any other evidence to support that this information is correct. We're implementing a cucm8 upgrade in less than 3 weeks and our reseller is stating UC proxy's are required to support this feature, however the documents they are providing on this are dated 2009 and have nothing about the anyconnect vpn phone, only the old style phone proxy.

is anyone able to clarify this?

TIA
