Hi,


I'm trying to convert Cat OS to IOS, below are some info:


Hardware information:

To be upgrade to IOS: c6sup22-js-mz.121-23.E4.bin


I have followed the procedure on Converting Hybrid OS to Native IOS from the web link below:

After the switch reboots, it prompts error:

Hey Romel,


This looks like a potential hardware failure with the memory on the SUP, likely specific to the RP side -

System memory 1 bit ECC correctable error interrupt ..


Do you see this error each time the SUP tries to boot?  You'll probably need to replace the SUP (at the very least, the MSFC).  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply.


Yes, I do encounter this error everytime I reboot the Sup with IOS. I have another spare of SUP with the same model.


I will try to convert the spare SUP and hope it works. Will let you know of the outcome.

As I mentioned, I tested the spare SUP and it work just fine. Indeed it was a hardware problem and is now on the process to be replaced.
