Hi,

The MARS appliance is no longer working and I am getting the following error.

" kernel panic:no init found. try passing init=option to kernel "

Any idea what this mean?

This error usually indicate hardware failure.  Have you tried re-imaging the MARS device with a recovery DVD?  If a re-image doesn't resolve the issue, then you need to RMA the device.
