CUPC 8 not logging in...V7 works fine

Just upgraded to CUPS 8 and was really excited to try out the V8 client, but it does nothing. It just launches and sits there with the version splash, then eventually it closes.

I have searched the forum and havent seen anyone with similiar issues. My guess is that there is some service or something that needs to be configured for the V8 clients to work...

Any thoughts?

There are a number of services and configuration items that need to be done prior to using the new client.

CHeck the deployment guide for Presence 8 or try Michaels book and site:

According to tac I am the fortunate victim of some bug that was first reported yesterday. No known workarounds at this time = no cupc 8 for me.
