Does the 3825 support ipv6?
If so how do you enable it?
i am running the advanced security 15.1(2) software.

Hi,
3825 supports IPv6 but you need to change features set from security to Adv IP or Enterprise or SP.
Here is config guide.
conf t
ipv6 unicast-r
int x/x
ipv6 address 2001:0DB8:0:1::x/64

there is no ipv6 address cmd under the interface.

are the feature set the same and what about license? the reason we had to go with security was to use parts of bgp at version 12.4.

Hi,
It is up to the contract you have with CISCO.
You can try to download IOS from www.cisco.com/tac. Login with your CCO ID.
If your contract is good enough, you can download ADV IP from http://www.cisco.com/cisco/web/download/index.html
ADV IP will have all BGP supports, so you can download ADV IP feature set.
