Cisco AP 1242AG Config Got Hosed

Answered Question

I have an AP that was LWAPP on a WLC but during an upgrade it is one the got hosed.  When it boots up, it just stops and shows Red lights.  I have consoled into it and it will start to boot and then give Error loading "Flash:/update/c1240-k9w8-mx.124-18a.JA2/c1240-k9w8-mx.124-18a.JA2.

Interrupt within 5 seconds to abort boot process

boot process failed...

The system is unable to boot automatically.  The BOOT environment needs to be set to a bootable image.

Well, I have a new image, but my question is how do I get this into the AP with the console cable.  Do I use xmodem or something like that.  Once the AP goes to the point where it shows ap:  then it is stopped.  There is no typing or anything that will work.  Anyone have a link that explains how to put code into an AP with a bad boot image or can you explain how to do this.  I would surely appreciate it.

I have this problem too.
