Can we run CVP 8.0 voice apps on VXML servers 4.0?

Hi,

I have a peculiar situation where we need to set a new development system for CVP and I expect the version to be version 8.0. However, my prod. environment is running version 4.0. The big question for me is that if I migrate my voice apps to version 8.0 within CVP studio and try to deploy and run on a production vxml server version 4.0, will it work? Likely to break, correct ...

Yes, it should work just fine, just reopen the apps and redeploy them. Depending on the complexity of your applications everything should be good.
