Hello, we're working on a project to integrate a hydro-electric power dam location of ours into our newly implemented Cisco call manager at head office. The location has a requirement for many analog emergency phones located at different spots around the power station, some in as remote locations as at the top of a 500ft water tower. Most of these phones only require dial-out only capability, since they are for emergencies only. I'm struggling with how we are going to accomodate this requirement.
The rest of the implementation is very straight forward, with clients in the administrative building using traditional ip phones, connecting to a voice gateway (Cisco 3925), and coming across the WAN to hit the call manager.
Any advice?

How about a VG224? VG224 is a voice gateway with 24 analog ports which can be controlled by CUCM as SCCP, but can also be configured to work with other protocols. Once this is installed, you simply need to patch from the VG to those phones.

Fantastic, thanks Mark. Looks like this should do the trick. I've never even heard of these, but they should work great going forward as we roll out voip to more generating stations.
Thanks again.

Don't forget to order an am phenol cable (male on the VG224 end) and any necessary 66/110/patch panels to go along with the VG224!

Agreed... best to probably contact your Cisco account team or partner to make sure you get everything ordered that you need.
