Can you get more information as the issue occurs? We need to see if CM is throwing the disconnect of 42, or if the gateway is.
debug voip ccapi inout
debug ccsip mess
debug h225 asn1
Router(config)# service sequence
Router(config)# service timestamps debug datetime msec
Router(config)# logging buffered 10000000 7
Router(config)# no logging con
Router(config)# no logging mon
Router(config)# voice iec syslog
Router# term len 0
Router# sh logg
Note calling/called number of the call with the issue.

Santiago,
The disconnect is being thrown because we are receive an R2_stop from the e1r2 circuit:
461831: *Aug 28 21:50:27.953 GDL: R2 Outgoing Voice(4/0): DSX (E1 4/0/0:20): STATE: R2_OUT_PROCESS_B R2 Got Event R2_STOP
461832: *Aug 28 21:50:27.953 GDL: r2_reg_generate_digits(4/0/0:0(21)): Tx digit '#'
461833: *Aug 28 21:50:27.953 GDL: r2_reg_event_proc(4/0/0:0(21)) ABORT_DIGIT_COLLECT
You will want to work with your provider on this to find out why they are sending this message. Any details the provider can provide you about how the e1-r2 circuit is provisioned will be helpful, as you may need to configure some stuff under the cas-custom subconfiguration to match what the provider is doing.
