Forwarding traffic over P2MP MPLS TE

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has come across a way to forward unicast traffic over P2MP MPLS TE in Cisco IOS? I know PIM SSM can be used to forward multicast traffic. But how about unicast traffic? Like a VPLS implementation using P2MP MPLS TE.

I tried static routing but it's not working. Autoroute feature is not supported on P2MP MPLS TE.

Hi,

P2MP TE is used to transport transit multicast traffic only.

The integration with VPLS allows the use of P2MP TE to transport multicast/broadcast and unknown unicast packets in a more efficient way.
