ACE 4710 rewrite?

Hi guys!

I have a question about the header rewrite function of he ACE 4710.

What I want:

A client is accessing following URL: www.cisco.com/paint

Match URL policy say: go to Serverfarm xyz Port xyz

What I want is, the request will be send to the Serverfarm with another location such /service/axis/check is that possible?

I won’t a redirect, only a rewrite.

Can handle the ACE that? If yes, how can I configure that

Markus,

Unfortunately the ACE cannot rewrite the URI. It can only rewrite the http headers. The only thing the ACE can do in this case is send a redirect to the correct path you want the user to connect to.
