CallerID information (from PSTN) to the Cisco Phones

Hi All,

I would like to know what command I have to set on the voice gateway (3800 series) in order to get or pass the callerID information to the Cisco Phones, I have ISDN PRI (T1) , also those are MGCP (CCM 4.1 controlling) , the telco has the callerid feature actived.

Hi

You mean callerID in number format, or name?

If number, it's there by default; run a 'debug isdn q931' on the gateway to verify the SP has actually got it turned on (you should see the info in the RX SETUP packets even if CCM was ignoring it).

Yes caller-ID number format, the scenario is the following:

PSTN-----(T1)----->Nortel PBX-----(T1)------>Cisco Gateway---->CCM--->phones

Actually when an incoming call is send to a phones, those are receiving on the display the “call Fwd to 3XXX”. what is the same extension number (it self) (called party number)
