Solved: ASA upgrade question

Hi,

we want to be able to get netflows from ASA to the analyzing tool. as a result, we need to upgrade our ASA to latest 8.xx version. do we need to upgrade only the software or the hardware also?

we are currently running on version 7.2

Hardware details.

Hardware: ASA5520, 512 MB RAM, CPU Pentium 4 Celeron 2000 MHz
Internal ATA Compact Flash, 256MB

You can upgrade to 8.2 with what you have now. 8.3 requires a RAM upgrade and a fair amount of planning: https://supportforums.cisco.com/docs/DOC-12690
