INGRESS NETFLOW TRAFFIC 6504

I to all,

we have a catalyst 6504-E with SUP720 (IOS 12.2(18)SXF12a) switch with several L3 routed ports, I configured this ports to export netflow data to Orion Traffic Analyzer server but I can see only the egress traffic.

You can see the config below:

mls flow ip full

mls nde sender version 5

ip flow-export source Loopback0

ip flow-export destination "IP ORION" 9996

-- ROUTED INTERFACE CONFIG --

ip flow ingress

ip route-cache flow

Do I miss something in the config? Why I cannot see the ingress traffic data on the configured interfaces?

Hi,

By default, NetFlow ingress is turned on all L3 interface on SXF, so you can see all traffic ingress flows from all interface.

Would you post output of "sh ip cache flow" and show me which flow you think it is egress flow?

On 6500, Egress Netflow is supported only for multicast.
