Network Registrar 6.3.3.1 licences

Hello, a customer use cnr6.3.3.1 and it has 2 licences:

type: local-cluster

count: 5000 and 1000

I suppose this is the max ip addressess that i can manage in dns database, but at the moment my database has more than 6000 records stored and all seems to be works fine.

On an enviroment test with the same licences i have created via scritpt 10000 records and no limitation appears. Somebody can explain me the mean of this licences? Unfortunately cnr6.x is in end-of-sale and i don't find information

Thanks

Luca

Hi Luca,

I am not sure whether this question still applies.

The count is only for the DHCP part of CNR, number of RRs in DNS are not limited.

Note also that even on DHCP, the license count are not enforced by CNR, it is up to the CNR administrator to respect the license.

Cheers,

Tom
