hello everybaody,

im have tested several antennas for our WLAN, but I dont know which value is needed, that the WLAN does work?!?!

Im remebering, that a value over -65 dBm is good enough to have solid network?! Is this right.

If anyone has an link or something like that, i would be happy.

I have this problem too.

thank you

but from where did you get this information?

especially the information, that you have to have a strengh of -65 dBm for voice networks and -80 dBm for Data networks?

does there exists any books or scripts? Because i have to write a record and therefore i need the source of that information?

I hope you understand what i mean?

Most of it came from years of experience and the rest came from various cisco and airmagnet documents. Your best option if your looking to quote something then check out the Cisco desgin guides.

Try those.
