Hello!
I'm sure this has been asked before, but could not find an entry.
We would like our main auto attendant to have the ability to do caller input by dialing the name of a subscriber and transferring to their extension rather than their voice mailbox. how to do this in unity? thanks!

Depending on where you're at with this, you would need to do the following:
To allow dial by name on the AA, then you would want to offer a Caller Input option that goes to a Directory Handler. The Directory Handler can search the entire server, a distribution, list etc.
In order to ring the Subscriber extension as opposed to VM greeting, you need to configure each Subscribers transfer option to transfer to their extension and not the greeting (which is default, I believe).

No, that setting is used for transfers that are initiated from within Unity - such as by a caller dialing an extension from within Unity, dialing by name, or even having a transfer option that goes directly to a user based on Caller Input within a Call Handler.
