Blocking outgoing CLID per phone

Guys,

i have CUCM 7 with two H323 GWs attached. the first is an E1 the other a sip trunk to a gsm gateway for cellular calls. im doing all translations on the gateways.

all phones have did numbers assigned as their extension and carrier passing four digits only for incoming calls to the phones.

the request is to block outgoing clid for 5 phones.

how is this acheived?

ive tried a new pt, css and rp for those phones only and placing the clid presentation as restricted but im still advertising the main pilot number.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

thanks in  advance.

Hi,

Did you create a route pattern that matches the range of DNs you want to block the called id for?
Otherwise, did you create 5 RPs?
In the Calling Party Transformation section, set the Calling Line ID/Name Presentation
to "Restricted", either at the route pattern level or at the route list level depending on
how your setup is. Probably you have Restricted on the RP and then Allowed on the RL so it gets
overwritten.

HTH!

Tere.
