query about access port configuration

Hi Expert,

Below is the configuration of the switch port, on which we have attached VOIP phone & PC, They are working fine.

Please explain me the configuration in brief .

I am very confused, because how we can configure an access port as trunk port. & how we can configure access port as porfast trunk.

interface FastEthernet1/0/2

switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

switchport trunk native vlan 100

switchport trunk allowed vlan 100 110

switchport mode trunk

switchport nonegotiate

no logging event link-status

srr-queue bandwidth share 10 10 60 20

srr-queue bandwidth shape  10  0  0  0

priority-queue out

mls qos trust cos

no snmp trap link-status

auto qos voip trust

spanning-tree portfast trunk

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Suryakant

Hi Suryakant,

Cisco Call this multi-vlan access port and not a trunk port, but we know if you have more than one vlan on a link that is a trunk port.

The packets between the switch port and the PC use your native vlan 100 so the PC connected to the IP phone sends untaged packets.  And the voice packets will be tagged by the IP phone using vlan 110.
