OSPF Instance per Nexus VDC

We are deploying a series of Nexus 7K's for a multi-tenant network. We are going give each tenant a VRF, and an OSPF instance. I know that you can have 4 or 5 OSPF instances within an VDC, but how many VRF's can you have in an OSPF instance?

Hi Cody,

The max number of VRF for VDC is 200 in release 4.1, and I don't see that number changes in 5.0.

The max number of ospf instance is 4 per VDC.

So in the OSPF instance...I can have 200 VRF's tables?

No, I will say max 200 number is per VDC not per IGP instance.

As long as the total VRF number doesnt exceed 200 per VDC, then it is fine. If you use same VRFs for all instance, then you can have 200 VRF for each instance.
