Hey all, I'm hoping someone can help with a problem I am having with a AIRONET 1130AG Access point.
I have installed quite a few of these but this one has me baffeled. Now, I'm not a CCNA or anything like that.
I set up using the GUI; I use a simple WPA.
My devices connect with "Limited or no Connectivity" If I hard code an address, devices work fine. If I attach them to the switch, they obtain an address on the nic AND the Wirless connections.
It seems the AP just wont let DHCP pass
If i check the AP, it shows my devices, but no IP. Under the log, the last entry say "interface Dot11Radio0, Deauthenticating Station (mac address) reason: Previous authentication no longer valid"
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John

I have DHCP running on a Domain Controller. Originally DHCP was running on a router, but I changed it to the DC to see if it made a diference. it did not.
Here is my #sh config. Probably more info than you needed. Thanks for taking a look

can you post the switch config that this AP connects too?
Do you have IP helpers set up?

No programming was done on the switch. It's just out of the box.
Right now I have an old linksys wireless connected to the switch with no security, and clients connect to that just fine.
I set the AP up through the GUI, I didnt see an IP helper option. Not sure if it set defaulted to on/off.
Not really familiar with IP helper.
Thank you

Your linksys ... Is it handing out the IP addresses? Are you using the same subnet ?

Is your GW really .30?

No DHCP running on the Linksys. Yea .30 is my gateway. Using a SonicWALL firewall
