Hello,

I am accessing the Cisco Security Manager(Installed in Windows 2003 server) from a client (Windows XP) but I cannot access.

I can ping the CSM server.

I used http and https to access based on the userguide and installation guide.

example from a client machine windows XP i used:

http://1.1.1.1:1741 or https://1.1.1.1:443

What maybe the cause of this issue?

thank you

Hello,

It's possible that one or more of the CSM services has failed. Try logging into the CSM Server and opening the Services manager (Start > Run > services.msc). All of the services starting with "Cisco Security Manager..." should have a status of "Started" if everything is working correctly. (Note: do not change the "Startup Type" values for these services).

If any of the services do not have a status of "Started", you could reboot the server or restart the "Cisco Security Manager Daemon Manager" service to see if the services are able to recover.

Hope that helps.
