Hello Avilt,

the basic command as noted byNagaraja is show cam dynamic

for a given vlan X you can use

show cam dynamic  X

on some newer catos versions you can also look for a specific mac-address:

write it in classic format AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF

show cam  AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF

this may work and can give you the port where the MAC address is learned

if this does not work the best thing to do is to copy the output of show cam dynamic vlan# on an text editor and to look for the MAC address in the above format.

Some newer catos are able to accept also the MAC format aaaa.bbbb.cccc that is used on IOS LAN switches in the show cam command

Hope to help

Giuseppe

Thank You very much, I was trying without classic format.

show cam  AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF worked perfectly.
