do cisco now support the IOS c2950-i6q4l2-mz.121-22.EA6.bin do is it recommended to upgarde the IOS , since the mention IOS have not given any issues so far???

Very old switch, very old software, it does not make a difference if you update or not.

But do you mean cisco 2950C 24 port switch is not supported by cisco .

Also do you think software should not be upgraded .

Please share the reason as i have to give the strong reason to client to not to upgrade the software

Hello,

12.1(22) EA13 is the latest software for that platform. You can certainly

ask your client to upgrade the software if there is a need to upgrade the

software. The device is still supported by Cisco. The last date of support

is October 20, 2013.
