Note that other switches, although not stackable can actually be clustered together.

Hmm, I don't know about those and I could not find them on Cisco website during a fast sweep. Did you perhaps mean 2975?

EDIT: There are also 2960-S stackable switches using the FlexStack technology...

cisco switch 3750 are both stackable/workgroup switches..

3750 Models: 3750, 3750v2, 3750E, 3750X

2975 Models: 2975

2960 Models: 2960S
