Site-to-Site VPN

We have setup a Site-to-Site VPN between the two ASA's.  The tunnel has been established.  Everything is working properly.  However, we thought we no longer need to establish Site-to-Site VPN again, so we erased the config of the Remote Site ASA.   But, before erasing the configuration of the Remote ASA, we made a copy of the config.   Now, we need to setup the Site-to-Site VPN again.  If we copy the same  config to Remote ASA, do you think the tunnel will be established?  Do you think we need to change anything?  We have not changed anything on the Main Office ASA.

Thanks.

Yes, you can copy the same configuration that you have previously, and it should reestablish the VPN tunnel.

One thing that needs to be looked at is the pre-share key (you would need to enter the actual matching pre-shared key (same as the main office pre-shared key) because when you copy the configuration, the pre-shared key normally is copied as just a star (*) symbol.
