Solved: ASA 5540 mem upgrade Should I remove existing memory

Currently running 1GB in ASA 5540

I have purchased ASA-5540-MEM-2GB upgrade kit

Should I leave the existing 1 GB installed and install the 2 GB kit

or should I remove existing 1 GB and install the 2 GB?

Hello,

Remove the 1GB. It has been observed that with the old memory in there, the

device might get into a continuous boot cycle.
