H323 Block call on ANI

Currently I have the a inbound translation pattern which translates the called number from 10 to 6.  Translation profile which is applied as imcoming to the pots dial peer is .

I need to block a few numbers based on originating ANI.  I have made new translation rules to reject the numbers, and they do work.

Can I have a translate called, and a translate calling  on the same profile / dial peer.

Voice translation-rule 12

rule 1 /41625\(.....\)/ /1\1/

Voice translation-rule 13

rule 1 reject /^(10 digit number)/

Voice translation-profile XXXX

translate calling 13

translate called 12

Is this possible?  Thanks

You can have translate called and calling directives on the same translation

profile. Though, I think that when you are doing a call rejection this

configuration approach doesn't apply. I block calls using the "call-block"

command under the pots dial-peer. This is evaluated independently of a

translation. Or at least that is my understanding.

HTH.

Thanks for the info and quick response.  Using called blocking command worked very nicely.
