Compliance recording on CUCM without CUCCX / CUCCE

Hi guise,

My customer (with CUCM 6.1 - sun to be upgraded to 7.1) ask my question : Is there some Cisco application for silent call recording of non "CCX / CCE agent" IP phone (around 50 of them not always same phones)? And my idea was Compliance recording!? Can it be made without CCX / CCE? And of course "spawn port" is out of the question - to much DATA traffic behind IP Phone.

Thanks in advance !

Yes, this is possible. See this URL as a starting point:

You will still require a recorder application. You'll see what I mean when

you RTFM.

Bill

If you're looking for compliance recording, I would recommend Calabrio Monitoring and Recording. It is a 3rd party app, but works seamlessly with Cisco UCM. *Cisco also purchased their brand of products for use with Cisco Call Center products with the caveat that if you have UCC you need to purchase from Cisco, not Calabrio.

It can record via a span port, but as you stated this may not be an option. It can also record via endpoint recording, which is what all of my installs have used. A small service is installed on the desktop, which listens for packets coming from the phone (needless to say the PC needs to be plugged into the back of the phone). When a call is placed, it contructs a audio file that uploads when the call is completed (or on a schedule).

Here's the link to thier site for more information; http://www.calabrio.com/products_quality.asp
