Hello Ramnet,

another cisco device (OUI  000e38 belongs to cisco you can check here http://standards.ieee.org/regauth/oui/index.shtml ) is configured with the same ip address

from C4000 device do a MAC address search to find out where the MAC is learned

show mac address-table address 000e.3838.493f

find the port and discover what is connected to it

you may need to repeat the above steps on multiple switches until you find the system with an overlapping ip address

interface Vlan58

ip address 10.66.58.254 255.255.255.0

!

on modular multilayer switches you can use show module to see the MAC addresses used by the device

Hope to help

Giuseppe
