Connect a 10Gb X2 and a TwinGig X2 to same supervisor WS-X45-SUP6-E?

Hi,

We would like to connect a 10Gb X2 and a TwinGig X2 to the same Supervisor (WS-X45-SUP6-E) is this possible. The release note are a little vague.

Hi Andreas,

According to the datasheet you can do 10Gig or 1Gig (using the TwinGig) on either slot.  So yes, you should be able to do 1 10Gig and 2 1Gigs.

Thanks for the reply.

I also have that datasheet but there seems to be conflicting documents if you see below:

This says there is a limitation.

So im having trouble to to clarify this and i dont have the equipment to test this.

Hi Andreas,

After reading the link you posted, it seems that you can only do 10Gigs or 1Gigs and not a mix of both, but than again to be sure, it needs to be test it.
