FX0 csim question.

I currently have several 2821 routers located across multiple sites. The routers are only used for outbound 911 calls. They have 2 analog phone lines attached to a 4 port FX0 card.  I have been using the csim command to remotely test to make sure the lines are up and functioning. Is there a way to take one of the ports of the FX0 card offline, so when I use the csim command to test, it will test the second line as well?

Just create a specific "test" pots dial peer with the destination-pattern and the FXO port that you want to test.

Once you test, you can either remove the "test" pots dial peer or just "shut" it until you want to test again.

I would guess you can just put that particular fxo port in shutdown.

I thought so to, but I am not sure how to shut those specific ports down.

use "shut" CLI under the concerned voice-port or dial-peer

to exclude it from being used in any call.

After testing the first port, busy it out by going under the voice-port and entering the command "busyout force".
