Installed CAD 7.6.1. Receiving pop-up error: "Unable to download file. Could not open request". At this point, I can select the "ok" button, and the load continues successfully. Looking at the logs, I am seeing the following information:

I am stuck. We are trying to get this error window to go away, and unfortunately, I've run into a wall. Any suggestions or help?

Do you have a proxy configured in IE? I often see this when CAD can't understand the proxy config; most often this is when a proxy auto-config script is used rather than a simple proxy address and bypass list.
If so try disabling the proxy and restarting CAD.
